Features commonly found in high-end hunting rifles can now be found in the Axis II platform to provide increased performance and precision out of the box. The Axis II synthetic stock features improved ergonomics and includes Mossy Oak Overwatch camouflage, the official pattern of the National Rifle Association. The low-friction cerakote coating on the barrel, receiver, and other critical parts is harder than competing finishes and protects against corrosion and heat. At just 2-4 microns thick, the coating does not interfere with the rifle’s functionality in the field.
