The Five-seveN MRD is a new standard for pistol accuracy! It comes equipped with an optics-cut slide, accommodating the use of the popular micro red dots made by Trijicon, Leupold, Vortex, Burris, Doctor Optic, and Holosun. The installation of a red dot promotes faster, more intuitive target acquisition/engagement, and allows the operator to take full advantage of the superior range, accuracy, and flat shooting trajectory that the 5.7mm cartridge is known for. The long-lasting 4.8-inch cold hammer forged, chrome lined barrel, and smooth trigger pull with a predictable break contibute ot a better accuracy. Improved stippling and textures of the grip, and pronounced serrations on the slide and trigger – together, these additions improve the ergonomics and operation of the pistol. So that this pistol is perfect for self-defense and professional-use applications. The Five-seveN MRD offers low recoil and a wide assortment of user-friendly features. All of the controls are oversized, allowing the pistol to be used while wearing gloves and to conform too virtually any shooter. The safety selector is ambidextrous, and a reversible magazine release accommodates both left and right handed users. The adjustable iron-sights can be used to co-witness with a micro red dot, and a photo-luminescent front sight provides accurate shooting in low light situations.
