The X-Bolt Mountain Pro SPR is more than up to the task of your next big game hunt. This accurate rifle includes a level of specialized finishing touches and higher end construction that elevate it above the already top-tier X-Bolt family of hunting rifles. First, the rifle features a true carbon fiber stock that is lightweight and rigid and filled with a noise-dampening foam. The action and spiral fluted, sporter-weight barrel are stainless steel and feature the added protection of Burnt Bronze Cerakote.
This special SPR version features a slightly belled muzzle that is threaded 5/8″-24 and is 4″ shorter than Browning’s standard X-Bolt Mountain Pro to easily accommodate a sound suppressor (Not included.) A proprietary barrel lapping process enhances the bore finish.
Other features included with this rifle are a spiral fluted bolt and bolt knob and a threaded muzzle with Browning’s Recoil Hawg muzzle brake that reduces felt recoil up to 76% (depending on caliber), effectively taming your favorite magnum cartridges.
