The X-Bolt Mountain Pro LR Rifle comes with carbon fiber stock with accent graphics, Cerakote Tungsten finish on a stainless steel barrel and action, spiral fluted bolt, 26in. spiral fluted and lapped heavy sporter contour barrel, threaded muzzle, Recoil Hawg muzzle brake and thread protector included.
Lightweight, rigid and super tough, the second generation carbon fiber stock is immune to the elements and flex. It is constructed using a 360 degrees carbon fiber weave. A compression molded carbon fiber recoil lug block is bonded to the stock and contributes to the low weight.
When compared to the traditional blueing process, premium Cerakote finishes offer the combination of increased durability, corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance.
The X-Bolt is free-floated by bedding the front and rear of the action for stability and to help maintain barrel to stock spacing for consistent accuracy. A recessed muzzle crown helps protect the rifling from damage.
The Browning Recoil Hawg ranks among the most effective muzzle brakes available. It reduces muzzle jump to keep your target in the scope and has been shown to reduce recoil up to 76% (depending on the caliber). Specially designed directional porting blows gases up and to the sides to minimize dust signature.
