The X-Bolt Mountain Pro Rifle is a bolt-action hunting rifle with carbon fiber stock with accent graphics, Cerakote Burnt Bronze finish on a stainless steel barrel and action, spiral fluted bolt, spiral fluted and lapped sporter barrel, threaded muzzle, Recoil Hawg muzzle brake and thread protector included.
The X-Bolt Mountain Pro is classified as a “semi-custom rifle”, it is the level of specialized finishing touches and higher end construction above the already top-tier X-Bolt family of hunting rifles. This model features a true carbon fiber stock – lighter than previous versions – making it stiff and lightweight. The stock is filled with a noise-dampening foam.
Also, the Cerakote finish on the stainless steel action and barrel is on the exterior of the stock for additional protection. The Burnt Bronze hue mutes the color of the stock for better concealability. The barrel features a proprietary lapping process to enhance the bore finish – avoiding the need for a time-consuming break-in process. Other features include a spiral fluted bolt and bolt knob, threaded muzzle with the Recoil Hawg muzzle brake that reduces felt recoil up to 77% (depending on caliber), productively taming your favorite magnum cartridges.
